Maritime Safety
Audits & Inspections

Since 2012 I provided the maritime industry with a genuinely independent assessment of vessels' condition, thorough inspections, and prompt marine survey reports, enabling commercial and business decisions to be made quickly and helping clients save time and money. I helped them with:

  • Yachts and Small CraftsPre-Purchase, On/Off Hire, Condition, Hull & Machinery Damage surveys, New Build and Pre-Delivery Surveys.

  • Commercial Shipping - Pre-Purchase, On/Off Hire, Condition, Hull & Machinery Damage surveys, Ultrasonic Tightness Testing of Hatch Covers, and Flag State Inspections.

  • Marine RenewableIMCA eCMID and MISW Surveys.

  • ISM/ISPS/MLC/ISO Audits.

Risk &
Project Management

With combined engineering knowledge and practice, I assessed risk and compliance with underwriter’s insurance warranties, deal with specialized, oversized cargo and high-value shipments. This process covers a review of packing before shipment, inland transport to and from the manufacturer’s premises, suitability of road transport, barges, and ocean vessels to ensure risk-free and safe transportation, review of ship stability data, loading and unloading of cargoes onto vessels and securing of cargo items such as power generation, off-shore, mining, wind farms, and petrochemical plants.

Maritime Education &

Not being restricted merely to consultancy and engineering, I took the initial turn in my career life, as a Senior Maritime Lecturer at the University of Trinidad and Tobago, in the year 2012; and subsequently as an assistant professor at State University of New York - Maritime College in charge of the Maritime Operation - Engine USCG unlimited license, then a director for the LNG Center of Excellence.

I have many years of experience working in the field of  Maritime Training and Education,  been involved in many specialist training packages, and delivered them to various international clients, in association with Lloyd’s Maritime Academy and The International Institute of Marine Surveying IIMS, my training materials have been delivered through Classroom and Web-based distance learning platforms for the maritime industry.
